I am not going to review each and every match individually. Overall, this Summerslam was almost a complete waste of time. It's supposed to be the 2nd biggest event the WWE puts on each year after Wrestlemania, but it felt like a "filler" event, just something to get over with while you continue to build towards something else. There were 7 titles on the line between the kickoff show and the actual Summerslam event...the only title that changed hands was the WWE Universal title. Other than that, everyone just held course, you could completely skip the entire PPV, and if you watch RAW and Smackdown this week, you'd find out not much has changed. This was a total failure on the WWE's part. 2nd biggest event, and there is very little to talk about afterwards.
I have no idea why they even bothered with Ziggler/Goldberg. That match (if you even want to call it a match) was something that could have waited until tonight. Ziggler/Miz would have been a much better match for Summerslam. It wasn't completely doom and gloom, there were a few highlights. Becky Lynch and Natalya had a nice aggressively paced match. It wasn't long, but it was impactful. The AJ Styles/Ricochet match was decent, as was Charlotte vs. Trish. But overall, this PPV was a giant dud. Wrestling fans who decided to skip it didn't miss much at all.
