Yes he is a college coach, but since this deals with heading back to the NFL as a head coach, it probably better fits as an NFL Chatter piece than NCAA...
Anyways...It didn't take long. About 50 nano-seconds after Michigan lost to Georgia in the Orange Bowl, "experts" started to pontificate as to the likelihood of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh leaving Michigan to go back to the NFL. Remember, not only has he been a successful NFL coach already, taking the 49ers to the Super Bowl, but he has a long history as a player in the NFL, and was HEAVILY rumored to go to Oakland before Brady Hoke was fired at Michigan, and he accepted the job back at his alma mater... Well. So far, just today, I have seen reports on Twitter claiming that Jim Harbaugh would "love to coach" in Chicago, "is definitely headed to" Jacksonville AND "seriously considering" Las Vegas, as well as him being quite happy being at Michigan. Note, none of those NFL teams have actually asked him if he was even interested yet, but, minor details like that never really keep a good story down, now do they? Jim Harbaugh might return to the NFL. He might not. But until HE says something about the matter, all of this is just meaningless water cooler talk.
