Antonio Brown just said goodbye to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and probably his NFL career.
During the middle of the game against the Bucs, Brown freaked out, took off his uniform and walked away. So why did Buccaneers receiver Antonio Brown leave the field during the game? His head coach told him to. Bruce Arians said that he was trying to get Brown to enter the game, and that Brown refused. Arians tried again, and Brown refused again. At this point, Arians told Brown to get out. Arians said he saw Brown removed his jersey, shoulder pads, T-shirt, and gloves. Brown then walked through the end zone and probably ended his career with a walk off. “Never seen anything like it in all my years,” Arians said. Few have ever seen anything like it before. And it’s fair to wonder whether we’ll ever see Brown again, with any NFL team. "He is no longer a Buc. That's the end of the story," Arians said. With Tampa Bay's offense in the midst of a third-quarter drive against the New York Jets, the star wideout pulled off his helmet, jersey and pads, waved to the fans at MetLife Stadium and ran into the tunnel. Video showed teammate Mike Evans attempting to restrain Brown from removing his uniform. Bucs head coach Bruce Arians told the media after Tampa Bay's 28-24 comeback win that Brown was no longer with the team. "He is no longer a Buc. That's the end of the story," Arians said. This has to be the last chance Brown gets right? The only possibility I can see is if a teams WR room gets gutted in the playoffs and a team has no other option but Brown. While this is funny to watch, Brown has serious mental health issues that he hasn't been able to resolve and it seems to be taking a turn for the worst again.
