The ESPN article states "If Fournette clears waivers, he would become a free agent. He is due $4.17 million in salary this season if a team claims him." Fournette has 3,640 yards from scrimmage and 19 total TDs in 36 games. Between rushing and receiving, that's 100 yards of offense per game. I mean, someone is gonna claim him off of waivers, right? Someone is going to take the chance that Fournette's issue was just being in Jacksonville, and with just a few weeks to go before the start of the regular season, I don't expect him to be unemployed for very long. The question is then, who? Which NFL team is gonna take the chance, and pay him the 4+ million he is owed?
